Primrose Hill – Celeb Fest

Living close to Camden and Primrose Hill I could be forgiven for assuming that I would be overrun at the weekend with London’s Glitterati rushing past me as I wander through Camden Town and scale the heights of Primrose Hill. Scouting for spots in Camden on Friday evening drew a big blank, although I fear I was out and about a bit too early, 6pm in the evening I assume most Camden Celeb’s are still on the phone to their publicists trying to decide whether they should wind up in the Marathon Bar or the gutter, thinking about it – those two are very similar. Amy Winehouse was not in evidence, drunk, raging or even doing a spot of shopping  in M&S – gutted. I tried Primrose Hill on Saturday and Sunday, the weather being beautiful, it was just perfect for topping up St Tropez tans, but to no avail. There were a few small crowds gathered and on closer inspection no sign of C or even Z list, just some misty eyed converts sharing the Good News. Bad news for me.

I note in my friend network a couple of handy spots. Mel did well with Ridley Scott, although I must confess I might walk past him and Jo G tip top with Gail Porter, surely I couldn’t miss her. So I like to think this is  a new week, new start. I will prevail!
